Crowns, bridges and dentures in Fez

A badly damaged tooth, a fragile root-treated tooth, or missing teeth that make eating and smiling difficult: dental prosthetics cover all these situations. The choice depends on how many teeth are involved, the condition of the neighbouring teeth and your budget.

Crowns

A crown covers a damaged tooth completely to protect it and restore its shape. Ceramic crowns (zirconia, all-ceramic) are natural-looking and strong. It usually takes two visits: preparation and impression, then fitting, with a temporary crown in between.

Bridges

A bridge replaces a missing tooth by resting on the two neighbouring teeth, which are prepared to take crowns. It is a fixed, quick solution, but it involves healthy teeth. An implant is often an alternative worth discussing.

Partial and full dentures

A partial denture replaces several teeth and clips onto the remaining teeth. A full denture replaces all the teeth in one jaw. A loose denture can be stabilised on two to four implants.

It takes a few days to get used to speaking and eating. Adjustments are planned to remove any sore spots.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a crown last?

Often more than 10 years with good brushing and regular check-ups.

Bridge or implant?

An implant leaves neighbouring teeth untouched; a bridge is quicker but relies on them. The choice depends on the bone, the neighbouring teeth and budget: we discuss it with the quote.

How do I look after dentures?

Take them out and brush them every evening, keep them in a glass of water overnight (or as we advise), and come for a check-up once a year.
